Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast
February 2011
Free to our Volunteers. $10 for guests
Join us as we honour our awesome volunteers.
Come and hear about the positive things youth in Hamilton are doing to better our community. Every year we celebrate our valued volunteers and present to each of them a buffet breakfast, a letter of recommendation, words of encouragement and a certificate. We will also grant the Volunteer of Excellence Award to the top volunteer of 2009.
During this event we also take the time to recognize the success of youth in our programs. We present the Gold, Silver and Bronze Achievement to youth who have demonstrated determination, perseverance and intensity in striving to be the best they can be for themselves and our community.
This event is inspirational. For this morning our focus will not be on negative statistics and the stigma to often associated with youth in society; rather, come celebrate and support the positive contributions and changes our volunteers and youth make on a daily basis.
