We would greatly appreciate your consideration in sponsoring our New Year’s Day Event, an opportunity for vulnerable youth to safely celebrate a New Year with a sense of belonging.
As we approach 2025, a time typically filled with joy and celebration, it's crucial to remember that for many at-risk youth in our community, this event can bring about serious challenges. For those in our programs, the transition into the New Year can sometimes lead them away from the progress they’ve made and into situations that could jeopardize their future.
Our event will be held on January 1st, 2025, from 12 PM to 5 PM for an afternoon filled with hope, excitement, and connection. We’re offering over $1,000 in prizes and bursaries through engaging activities like:
- Freestyle Rap/Karaoke Contest
- Ping Pong Contest
- New Year’s Goal-Setting Contest
- Basketball Dunk/3-Point Contest
- 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
- Gift Card Scavenger Hunt
Your generous contribution will provide us with the necessary resources to support at-risk youth, enabling them to attend and begin 2025 with positive and achievable goals. Please note that tax receipts for your generosity will be issued in early 2025.
Our aim is clear: to foster a supportive environment where our youth can celebrate the New Year filled with aspirations and positivity.
