About:
The 20th Annual Liberty & Justice Unity Basketball event will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, between 1-3 PM at St. Jean de Brébeuf Catholic Secondary School, located at 200 Acadia Dr, Hamilton, ON L8W 1B8.
The annual basketball game is between Liberty For Youth’s Prodigal Sonz (a team of at-risk youth and their mentors) and the Hamilton Police All-Stars basketball team, led by Staff Sergeant David McKenzie. Creating opportunities for positive interaction with the Police is part of Liberty For Youth’s community reintegration strategy. We are inviting the community to purchase tickets and come enjoy this event! All youth in our program will receive FREE TRANSPORTATION to and from the event.
Each attendee will enjoy:
- Refreshments
- Ontario All-Star Dunk Contest and Three-Point Contest
- Face painting & Colouring Station for young children
- Basketball Game between the Hamilton Police All-Stars & LFY’s Prodigal Sonz
