We invite you to become a sponsor and mentor for our 3rd Annual Skilled Trade Stair Climb Event to allow 20 trade industry leaders to provide trades-related mentorship to 20 at-risk youth. Mentors and youth will collectively climb over 20,000 stairs together! Our event will be on Friday, April 25, 2025, between 12:00–2:00 PM.
In Ontario, the unemployment rate increased in all regions in 2024. The GTA had the highest unemployment rate (8.6%), followed by Southwestern Ontario (7.1%), Eastern Ontario (6.4%), Central Ontario (6.3%), and Northern Ontario (5.8%).To be part of the solution, we partnered with LiUNA Local 837 to run our ‘Trade Up’ programming, for youth interested in pursuing employment within the trades field.
By supporting this event, you'll be helping at-risk youth make meaningful connections with workers in the trades and expose them to different career opportunities.
