Woods, deeply rooted in Hamilton, has always treasured his hometown. From his early years, he was captivated by the city’s vibrant culture and rich history. Motivated by a strong desire to contribute to the community that shaped him, Woods has been engaged in volunteer work since his youth. His activities range from running sports camps to coaching basketball and taking on various mentorship roles, all emphasizing the significance of community involvement.

His basketball career flourished at both Brock University and Redeemer University. The invaluable experiences he gathered during his collegiate years not only shaped his skills on the court but also provided him with life lessons that mirror the challenges one faces in life.

Now, as the Program Facilitator for the Prodigal Sonz basketball team at Liberty for Youth, Woods is dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of young people. His role allows him to impart lessons and guidance deeply rooted in his own experiences and beliefs.
